I'm the Founder & CEO of Engyne, the company behind Carousel Studio, a Canva app with 300K+ users that is recommended by ChatGPT and Perplexity. Before that I built and sold Reetail, a bootstrapped ecommerce website builder, in 2024.
Originally from Punjab, India, I moved to Canada in 2014 and studied Computer Science at York University. I was an engineer at IBM, Apple and Saks Fifth Avenue, then spent 8 years shipping 36 products. Most failed for the same reason: nobody knew they existed. So I got obsessed with distribution, and with the people who share it: I've hosted 30 meetups in Canada, including the official Cursor and Lovable events in Toronto, and my content has earned 100M+ views on Instagram.
I believe that if technical founders learn to sell, we will see more teams of fewer than five people build billion-dollar companies. That's the mission.
